ABOUT VILLAGE OF HOPE
Over 30,000 children in Ghana, Africa are homeless, destitute, enslaved, or oprphaned. Village of Hope was established in Ghana with a mission to care for these needy and destitue children until they are able to take care of themselves. What began with 1 set of house parents with 8 children to care for has now grown to more than 200 children to care for and 10 house parent couples.
HEARTBEAT FOR HOPE is a non-profit organization established in 2008 whose goal is to help support the children living in The Village of Hope by raising funds for upkeep, education, medical care, and the house parents’ salaries. Beginning in 2011 HEARTBEAT FOR HOPE committed to full sponsorship children at the Village of Hope. Knowing the vital importance of saving the children of Ghana from destitution and slavery, Heartbeat for HOPE wants to make sure that these children have the opportunity to stay in the safe, secure environment that Village of Hope has given to them. But, we cannot do it alone. We need YOU!
